What is pod storage?

Pod storage (also called portable storage or container storage) is a service where the storage operator delivers a portable container to your location. You pack it, and they pick it up and store it at their facility. When you need your stuff back, they deliver the pod again.

Storage that comes to you. You never visit a facility.

Pod storage (also called portable storage or container storage) is a service where the storage operator delivers a portable container to your location. You pack it, and they pick it up and store it at their facility. When you need your stuff back, they deliver the pod again.

You book online, the operator drops off an empty pod (usually a sturdy container on wheels) at your door. You pack it at your own pace — no rush, no moving truck ticking up a bill. When you're done, you call for pickup. The pod goes to the operator's warehouse. Need something back? Request a delivery, or in some cases, access your pod at their facility. Pod storage is still relatively new in Asia compared to the U.S. and Europe, but it's gaining traction fast in markets like Hong Kong, Singapore, and Tokyo where convenience is king and traffic makes driving to a facility painful.

People who hate the logistics of moving stuff to a facility. Busy professionals, families with young kids, anyone without a car, or people who just want the easiest possible storage experience. It costs more than traditional self-storage, but the convenience premium is worth it for many.
